About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To have an awesome time and learn about other people's way of life.

ABOUT ME

I'm an 18 year old about to start clinical scinces/ medicine and surgery at University. Last year I worked for a while then travelled Europe with some friends for three and a half months, it was awesome! I'd love to travel again soon, but for now I'm just going to study, see friends and work a little.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat other people well, learn things from different disciplines and have fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While I was overseas I used couch surfing to get a bed in some cities, I thought it was a really good system so now I'm trying to show some people my home twon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed a few couches in Germany, everyone was welcoming and kind, definitely a unique travel experience.

Interests

I like going to the movies with friends, eating out, working out with my friend Browny, doing Brazilian Jujitsu and going to parties.

Music, Movies, and Books

For movies I like pretty much anything directed by Quentin Tarantino, The Coen Brothers, Martin Scorsese, Stanley Kubrick, Wes Anderson, Gus Van Sant and a lot of Clint Eastwood's stuff. For actors I really like Sean Penn, Danny Day Lewis and Frances McDormand.
My favourite authors are Cormac McCarthy, Ian McEwan, Ernest Hemmingway, Albert Camus and Salman Rushdie.
For music I like Radiohead, The Strokes, Ben Harper, Bombay Bicycle Club, The John Butler Trio, Interpol, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, Modest Mouse, The National, Joy Division and lots of other stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking around the mountains around Granada was pretty spectacular.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not a very seaosned traveller so I don't have that many tips, but I think going with people you really like and being willing to try things out of your comfort zone are good places to start.
I'd really like to learn some more cooking, and I'm always keen to hear about movies, books or films I might enjoy.
