About Me

CURRENT MISSION

WE've got no mission, we don't even understand what this question means

ABOUT ME

... this is becoming dificult... We're supossed to write something original and different...don't talk to Aitor in the mornings, he can be very nasty and grumpy :P

Aitor left his hometown 9 years ago (this is not that usual in the Basque Country, he's the only one in his family and in his group of friends that has left it!!) and he doesn't regret it. It helped him to open his mind, know new people, travel, and grow as a person. Now he's kind of settled in Barcelona, building a new family here even he misses the one he left behind (specially the little ones, the are so cute!!).

Joan left Sabadell three years ago, and after one and a half living on his own, he went to Uruguay for 5 months. Now he's back in Barcelona and we enjoy this small but cute flat.

Aitor has been traveling quite a lot during the last years: Québec, Syria, Argentina, Peru, Mexico, Brazil... It's been great, so we're even more eager to visit new places. But it was always dificult to know the local people, so that's why we've decided to join CS, we hope this way we'll know the real part of the countries we're planning to visit!!

What else... Aitor works in a cultural center. He was colaborating there for 5 years, and now we are in front of a challenge, so they decided to hire him, they haven't got a clue what they've just done!

Joan works in a lab as a biochemical since he finished university, creating a new protein that will help someone someday.

We also participate in a organic-consum coop, so we only buy to local farmers, in order to reduce this crazy "buy buy buy" society that no one knows where it will take us.

and that's enough, don't you think? we can always know more about each other around a beer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We try to host one/two times per month. We both have busy schedules and it's not that easy to have guests at home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

After having host great people for almost a year, it's time to start travelling. I'm sure it's going to be a great experience.
