About Me

Hello there, wonderful hosts!

I'm Tomas, a solo traveler who has had the incredible opportunity to explore more than 25 countries. Recently, I arrived in Spain after volunteering at a Children's Home in Kenya. I've heard amazing things about Malaga, and I'm really looking forward to spending some time there while I search for job opportunities.

When I travel, I always love to embrace the couchsurfing community. Why? Because you, the hosts, have the best insights into the city's hidden gems and local wonders. I'm a naturally curious person, and I believe that experiencing a place through the eyes of its residents is the most authentic way to truly understand its culture.

Couchsurfing has been a big part of my journeys since I first set foot in Europe six years ago. Back then, I was an eager 18-year-old with a burning desire to explore the world. Now, at 25, my passion for travel and adventure is stronger than ever!

I'm excited to be back in Europe and to create new memories and connections with fellow travelers and locals alike.

Thank you for taking the time to check out my profile, and I can't wait to meet all you amazing hosts in Malaga.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me travel is not just about ticking off destinations on a map. It's about immersing myself in the essence of each place, understanding its history, traditions, and local way of life. Through Couchsurfing, I've had the privilege of forming meaningful connections with locals, making friends for life, and gaining insights that no guidebook could ever provide.

Interests

Love for exploring diverse cultures and places. When I'm not on an adventure, you might find me playing tennis or cheering for football. Music, food, and discovering new landscapes make life a thrilling journey.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music, I love listening to different artists and then watching their live performances. As for films, I'm open to all kinds of series and films. I have watched series like Modern Family, The Playlist, La Casa de Papel, Vivir sin permiso, Merlí.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Took a brave step by facing my fear of sharks through a thrilling swim. It may not be the most incredible thing, but conquering that fear meant a lot to me. 🦈💧 The experience was both nerve-wracking and empowering, teaching me the value of pushing myself outside my comfort zone. It's these personal triumphs that make life's adventures truly meaningful.

Teach, Learn, Share

For over 6 years, I've dedicated myself to volunteering in my community, a passion I love. It's been a nice journey, making a positive impact and connecting with incredible people along the way. I've also had the privilege of public speaking to inspire and empower others to join the cause 🌟🤝✨
