Hi! Nice to see you and welcome on our profile! I'm Tomas, I see myself as a liberal, open-minded, outgoing guy. I would say also a freethinker. My friends say that I am very funny :D. Lucy is my love, best friend (no kidding, really, we were friends first) and fellow traveler. She is funny as well they say, we are funny couple :D We live together in Czech Republic. We moved here from Slovakia for a better life, what actually happened. We like exploring offbeat places , connecting with people, having fun, and enjoying life! This is what we share!

Personally, my hobby which I like the most is always exploring something new. Either Learn a new skill, get any new information ( I am little bit nerd too) or get to know a new culture, way of living etc.

And I will try everyting. At least once, haha!

Lucy is a big extrovert between us two, she literally need people for being alive, to fill up her batteries. Usually when we travel she is the person who make most of my friends hahahah :D Don't take me wrong, that's not being said I am not talkative or not social. I only need my time to open up and sometimes the first time I meet somebody I am a bit nervous about it. But I am actively working on it, also this is why I want to couchsurf :D Bu if I meet a more extroverted guy, it's always a perfect match!

Together with Lucy we enjoy walking and play with our doggie Sunny, our (not just) daily routine! He is a shelter dog, had a bad life before so we are wanna little bit compensate him to enjoy life. In other words he is not a guardian dog at all. We always figure out a new path to investigate, to go with him, even around our town. Explore, explore, explore!!! :D Oh speaking about exploration I forgot to say, we love nature. The greenery, forests, sounds of the life all around you :3... And free parties festivals in the forest! That is something even beyond of being special... It's hard to talk about it in this very moment in the end of December which is really gloomy and dark in my country. And I am not able to not convince Lucy (yet) to go for the night hike. This is the time when we enjoy going for for the culture, such as theater, and exposition, art festival etc.. Although live in a small winery town in South Moravia region but it's just a 20 min of driving to the 2nd biggest city in CZ, BRNO where all those things happen. But I would love to go for the night hike, once! :)
Lucy is a true animal lover, as a proof she doesnt even eat any of them. I would say that me too but Lucy disagree because I am not vegetarian.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I believe this would be a perfect way to mix the cultures :)

Music, Movies, and Books

As a child I was very into a rap music then at my 20's I transformed myself for an electronic music but now, I think I wanna be open for anything. I like exploring new approaches, experimenting... Please show me your music!

Oh, I didn't mention a free party. For me this means something unique. Creating an underground festival in the woods, just for a narrow spectrum of enthiusiasts , driven purely by dedication, from people to people... The tribal vibe feels almost spiritual. And I am not very spiritual guy.

Regarding movies honestly I don't know what to say here. I like movies and tv series. Maybe it would be easier to put the question upside down: I don't like movie that are solely action movies. I find the action scenes boring. Other than that, I can enjoy everything good quality, even a musical (but only when Lucy is not home :D)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As my personal success I learned to be a manager and a tomato specialist in hi tech farm from scratch. I started as a ordinary worker 10 years ago and I grew up.

Lucy's personal success was stopping eating animals.

As something amazing we did for others is probably saving Sunny from his bad life
