There's no such thing as a bad genre of music however there are bad examples of music genres. If you explore any genre for long enough you'll eventually find something you like.

Movies and books? I'm fond of fantasy, sci-fi, zombies, dystopian future type stuff, I enjoy films that are so bad they're good.
