About Me

Hey! My name is Tomás and I am a portuguese guy who just wants to travel for a while.
I've been living in Lisbon since I was born, except those 5 months where I lived in Barcelona (in order to Erasmus Program).

I've studied Business and Administration and I've finished my undergraduate back in 2016. After that I had no idea what I wanted to do, I could either go to study a Master or go directly to the labor market. In both of those options I had no idea which area or subject I wanted to do. I ended up by going to the labor market, working as a financial services auditor in a multinational company. Although it was a great experience, I was not happy with it.

After many thoughts and sleepless nights, I've made The decision: I've quitted my job and I'm going to travel for a while, fulfilling all those whishes that I have always had: to visit, to know and to experience.

The rest of this story is yet to be written... Im just waiting for the next chapter which will start in January!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend and I will be backpacking through India, Nepal, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodja and Thailand for 4/5 months!

We will start our trip on January 4th in Kochi (Querala, India), in the south of India. Our plan is to go all the way up to New Delhi (must visit Mangalore and Goa at least).

We chose Couchsurfing because with this trip we want to really know different cultures, and it's not in a 5* hostel that you will experience that! We want to be in touch with many people as we can, in order to learn and to teach, basically to share!
