Hi, I’m Tomas!

I’m originally Lithuanian but was raised in Galway, Ireland for the most part of my life. I come from a small and tight knit hardworking family.

I absolutely love to travel so just after finishing my studies I’ve set out on a world trip. Trying to see as many places as possible and meet many more cool people. Volunteering is something I passionately care about so I’m pursuing volunteering opportunities while I’m traveling also.

Being Lithuanian, I live basketball! Played it all my life and would play at any moment I can. It’s one of those thing which helped me meet a lot of people and travel around also!

Went to Uni in Galway, Ireland which is perhaps one of the greatest student towns in Europe and came out with a degree in Business. I really enjoyed my time learning about the ins and outs of the Business world and would gladly teach anyone who wants to learn.

Other than what I’ve mentioned, I’m a calm guy, enjoy deep conversations and discussions about the meaning of life. I am also a terrible procrastinator.... I get bored and want to do something too quick so my chilling time is usually cut short by activity.

Hopefully one day I get to meet whoever just read this section and tell them more about me!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don’t believe there’s any better way to learn about people’s culture, to share ideas and make friends than to get as close to them as possible. Couchsurfing is not only a platform to help a person get a place to sleep, it’s a cultural exchange where you make friends for life!

I’ve an English teachers qualification so if there’s any friends out there who want to improve their English, I’d love to help.

Basketball, Basketball, I love the game! Played it for 20years and coached for 5. Anything you wanna learn about it I can show you! Or if you wanna just watch a ball game I’m more than down with that too.

Anything Business related I can help with that. Let’s talk about the economics of your country or the policies to make it better.

Basketball has led me to working out in the gym, and being in the gym 4 times a week for the last 8 years has helped me acquire much knowledge. If you need workout tips, programs, nutritional and dietary advice, I know a lot about that too.
