About Me

After a couple of years of thinking about it, I'm finally going to do it. The main mission of this 1-year trip is to get my Italian citizenship (so I can legally stay for 1 year!). So I will live in napoli from August to october for doing this. In july I will do some whoofings/helpx/hovos in France. And after Napoli I have no idea! My main goal is to meet lots of people, and gain lots of good memories on the way 😃

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think its a cool way to get to know people and cities.

Interests

Music: I worked for 7 years in a music label and that's where I got my love for listening and discovering music. I used to collect vinils, but I sold my most valuable ones to help me start this trip! I figured it was better to invest that money on experiences!

Languages: this is a fairly recent passion of mine. I went to an english school, but always hated to learn languages. It seemed too hard. Until 3 years ago, when 2 friends of mine offered me to study italian together. We had the best teacher and since then I started German with my brother and french with another friend. Its a good excuse to see the people I love and gain a tool that is priceless!

Woodworking: I always liked interior design. But it wasn't till I lived with my ex that I could put it in practice. We had a huge terrace for our selves. It was a blank canvas! Thats when (due to economic limitations) I started to build the benches, table and decoration to fill up this space. I immediately fell in love with the craft. So much so that 4 years later I have a woodwork shop with over 14 machines to materialize almost anything I can think of. 🤔😊

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One year me and my friends went deep into a 4-day closed trekking trail in Patagonia's mountains. 4 days without seeing anybody! There was one part were we had to climb a 2m ice/snow wall, with a precipice behind us. By far the scariest moment of my life.
I onced recovered my wallet from Barcelona's pickpocketers. I grabbed him as soon as I realized he took it, and he gave it back! Win! (Obviously as soon as he hand it over I ran as fást as i could to the hostel 😂)
Im not good at managing my money.. When I was 20, we took a 1 month eurotrip with friends, and 4 days before ending the trip I runned out of money! I was ashamed to admit it, so I survived on bread and free little milk packs during those days.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm an easy going guy, I love to meet new people and I am very interested in getting to know the customs and culture of different parts of the world. I'm very open minded. I will travel with my speaker and my mate (infusion drink from Argentina). Most of all I LOVE to share new and different music!
