I think that the best way to know a new culture is by living within it, alongside the people who shape and form that culture. Listening new stories and telling mine is an incredible way to connect with people. I had my own record label (indie) at the age of 19, then opened my own recording studio at the age of 21, and managed to be self employed as a photographer/videographer at the age of 23.
