About Me

I am dreamer, pub intellectual and proud scout :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hadn´t know much about Couchsurfing until I took a part in a trip across Iran with my friends who use this amazing network. Thanks to Couchsurfing we were hosted by wonderful and generous people and we also met many inspiring people for meetups. So I have become Couchsurfing lover and I definitely want to be involved in it!

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC:
Raduza (CZ), Zuzana Navarova (CZ), Zrni (CZ), Vobezdud (CZ), Vladimir 518 (CZ), Edith Piaf, Cat Power, Zaz, Duman, Pink Floyd...

MOVIES:
I love philosophical films, during my film studies I was interested in genre of cinematic essay. The best authors of film essays for me are Godfrey Reggio and Artavazd Peleshian. I also love classic films, my favorite director is Federico Fellini. When I want to think deeply about films I watch pieces from
French New Wave or Czechoslovak New Wave epoque. When I want to be enchanted by breathtaking imagination I watch animated films, for example by Yuriy Norshteyn, Frédéric Back, Piotr Dumala or Jiri Trnka.
Modern films I like: La Grande Bellezza, Les Amours Imaginaires, Der Himmel über Berlin, Donnie Darko... Ok, I could continue endlessly :)

BOOKS:
My top books are The Garden of Eden by Ernest Hemingway, Arch of Triumph by Erich Maria Remarque and The Brothers Lionheart by Astrid Lindgren.
