Über mich
CURRENT MISSION
Meet great people, travel to exiting places
ABOUT ME
I would hope my friends said that I am a fun person to be around, open minded, nice to talk to and a good friend, 'cause that's what I'm trying to be. I also try to challenge myself, and get out of my comfort-zone. So I hope that Couch Surfing can give me some experiences that challanges me, and brings me to different places and new people.
PHILOSOPHY
Karma. If you are open and nice to others around you, you will have a great time on this planet.
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Where I live now, I don't have a living room, so I am sorry to say that I don't have a couch right now, but I am moving this summer, so I'll make sure to get a proper surfing couch.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet, but I am looking forward to meet people around the world!
Interessen
I like to bring my camera everywhere, and take pictures of things around me, and document my life.
As you probably understand I am a photographer, and photographing is my life for the most part. Other things I like to do is to go to conserts, meet new people, travel and generally have a good time. I have also been active in alot of extreme sports in my life, and that is a part of me I like to explore, so I am always up for new adrenaline-filled experiences.
But that doesn't mean that I can't chill out.

Musik, Filme und Bücher
I am not a big book fan, but I own one book that I frequently read in, and it's called the teaching of Buddha, it was given to me by the smartest, nicest and most amazing person I know.
I love alot of different music, from many genres, from nouvelle vauge to Mötorhead, but some highlights of my collection is Kaizers Orchestra, Muse, Grand Island and Bon Iver.
Movies is even harder to pick out a general type that I like. but I like movies :)
Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
While in Marrakech in 2012 me and a friend met a guy called Hakim to take some portraits of him, and were asked to join him at his house for tea, and so we did. We had a wonderfull time, and stayed untill midnight at his house, before we left we arranged a moped trip two days later with Hakim, and said goodbye. Two days later we went to his house to go on the "safari". He was not home, but his friend who barely spoke english said Hakim had gone to get the mopeds, and said we should wait for him at a cafè nearby. We sat down there and ordered some tea, and spoke to another friend of Hakim for half an hour. When Hakim showed up, we paid for our drinks, and went outside to find the mopeds. Hakim had to have his friend drive, because he had broken his leg in a climbing accident.
My friend Henrik sat down behind me on our moped, and we drove off into the streets of Marrakech. (if you have been there, you know how chaotic the streets are.) After a while of crazy driving, near collisions and a lot of fun/fear, we found ourselves in the French part of Marrakech, where we drove out on a footballfield to meet Hakims friends. They were drinking and having a good time, we were talking to them, taking photographs and having a wonderfull time.
This experience has opened me to how great people can be, and if you give people a chance you can have a great time, and meet new friends all around the world. And that is why I joined Couch Surfing.
Lehren, lernen, teilen
I think one thing I could bring to the table is the importance of taking photographs of the people you meet, the places you visit and the things you do. When you are home and think back on your experiences, there is nothing greater than looking at the faces of the people you met, the places you saw, and what you did.
