ABOUT ME

Just biked through - along with some trains - France. I was kept company by Hemingway, Camus and fine french people.

France has treated me well. I now, however, depart - minus the bike - to Italy, after a ten year absence. I am currently working on my Italian, but asking for things is about the hight of it. Hoping to improve this!

Music, Movies, and Books

Mostly folk-ish music... American and Irish. But also enjoy electronic music, usually of the English kind.

I tend to read mostly non-fiction, and I am mostly trying to rectify this. I spent the first part of this year grappling with Heidegger's Being and Time and the second part engrossed with Henry James.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I started to read European philosophy.
