I try to be positive all the time. I'm not seeking for eternal hapiness, because that's impossible, so I try to be happy with the tiny little things that life offers me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This was the old motto "There is nothing better than people's stories. I'm willing to listen to all of them. I can go to a hostel... but then where is the magic of travelling?"

This is the new motto: Couchsurfing should be a place where you lend a hand to someone in need more than a place to make friends (I do not keep any real contact with the people I met during my couchsurfing trips and that is because we didn't concur in the same city after that first meeting).

If I host I do it to people in need more than people who wants an experience. Right now I feel is like an obligation to pay for the couch. You pay in time, sharing stories and conversating when sometimes you don't really feel to. When I was seeking someplace to stay, "I was not qualified to the couch" because I didn't make a super cool personalized request to the host....fuck it! I just need a place to crash the night for different reasons, and sometimes I do not feel the urge to tell about my life over and over (when in a week you had told your aspirations and lifestory everyday, you get tired of that topic).

That's why: I offer my house to peple travelling and in need for a place to stay. I will give you the keys and let you be free. If we share some time together, then perfect, but do not feel the necessity to tell me anything, just do it if you feel so.

That being said, I do love stories and meeting new interesting people. And I am more than happy if we can enjoy some quality conversation and some tea or beer. I just don't think is mandatory in this site (I mostly use Tinder for that :)
