Hi there!
My name is Tomas, I am 28 years old and half Colombian, half German . For 3 and a half years I worked and lived in Germany creating some pretty awesome wildlife documentaries which allowed me to travel to marvelous places and see som of the greatest spectacles nature has to offer. And now, for the past few months I've been on the road, working as a divemaster, hoping to take cameras underwater and continue the filming journey below the surface.
I really like outdoors, climbing, diving and animals. I also love music and movies but one thing I don't like too much is milk.
My mother is German and she raised me in a pretty german manner, which means I like order, efficiency and to keep things tidy. However, my dad is Colombian, which means I also like to take things easy, not plan ahead and even the ocassional mess. So all in all I guess that makes me a walking paradox.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I believe the best way to submerge yourself in the culture of the places you visit is by staying with locals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Filming polar bears and sleeping next to an active volcano while the heat of the lava warmed us at night are some of the things I'm most grateful for that I got to do.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd be more than happy to share all about me and my experiences, anything about photography/videoghraphy or diving, cook and even teach a little Spanish or German.
But most importantly, what I can share with hosts is a good attitude and commitment to being a nice guest and have a great time.
