Overview
About Me
Irish, loving life in Stockholm. I love the weather here (all seasons, especially Winter), the people, the unspoilt nature and the progressive society.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I mostly go to the meetups, especially when travelling. It's a great way to meet a diverse bunch of people, and most couchsurfers I've met have been well-travelled and interesting people.
Can't currently accept people as I live in a collective and we don't all agree that couchsurfing is great :/
Interests
I climb, train BJJ, and love film photography and printing. And I ski when I can!
Music, Movies, and Books
Favourite book is "The Counte of Monte Cristo", but the book that gave me shivers was Camus' "The Fall". I also just started reading a bunch of books by Gombrich about Art and perception and they are incredible.
Movie-wise, 2001, Europa Europa and No country for old men are usually floating around my top three spots in some order. Also I remember Brick being great, and who doesn't love Showgirls?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hiked to Trolltunga in March, back when I was not very experienced in Scandinavian things. Since then I have learned about skis and what they are for.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can cook crepes and know a lot about stem cells and ageing. And that's it. And I guess I am pretty OK with cameras.
