When I'm not procrastinating homework, I'm working at an art gallery. Interests include but not limited to: food, drink, food and drink, museums/galleries, foreign languages, bar trivia.

PHILOSOPHY

Never pass up an opportunity to sit at the bar.

Music, Movies, and Books

I played viola for a number of years, most of which were in the Youth Orchestra of San Antonio, so I've got a huge love for orchestral music of all periods.
Aside from that, I have a wide range of tastes. Robyn, Kanye, HAIM, Hot Chip, Taylor Swift, Selena. If I can dance to it, I'm down.

I have a few favorites but Interpreter of Maladies is one I keep returning to over and over.

Anything by Almodovar - Volver is my favorite. Thouhg, I love me a tacky 90s teen movie just as much as a foreign drama.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just recently visited the Sassi of Matera, an ancient town in the south of Italy with Neolithic roots. Known for homes built from man-made caves in the rolling hills, it is a magical gem with rough edges. Life is slow and old and deliberate and a 3 hour lunch at a local osteria went by too fast.
