About Me
I hope to enable others to find their own answers about the world and life though exploration and discovery!!
I was born and reared in a good ole "Southern Boy" fashion, but at an early age I wanted more than the small town experience - I wanted adventure in my life. I grew up close to New Orleans and since leaving home I have lived in New York City; Oxford (MS); Atlanta; Baton Rouge; Los Angles; Salt Lake City; Las Vegas; Bogota and Medellin, Colombia. I have traveled 38 of the 50 U.S. states and want more of a global experience now. I try to continue tho expand my world view via personal experiences. I have quite a young spirit about me (I think anyway lol)!

PHILOSOPHY - Life is to be LIVED!!
I have had Multiple Sclerosis for more than 16 years now and attempt to live life to the fullest. I try my best to enjoy the good days that I do have.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am starting to make travel my priority. I like exploring life's possibilities and getting the most out of life through shared experiences with other traveling souls.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was 40 and had lived 7 years with a disabling condition (Multiple Sclerosis) when I began to live life like I never had. I traveled for the first time out of the U.S. and embraced traveling alone. The amazing thing to me... is my sense of adventure continues to grow in spite of my age and my MS.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have lived in the U.S. most of my life and could help others with learning English. I want to learn Latin American Spanish.
My passion is story telling! I love an audience and the challenge of keeping their interest with a story whether personal or fictional.
I also make a good Jambalaya.
