About Me

Hello! I'm a free spirit, in love with traveling, nature, and the thrill of adrenaline. I live in a picturesque small town near Opole, Poland, but my heart also beats strongly for Spain - its culture, people, and way of life. I dream of living in various corners of the world, drawing the best from each place.

I'm a huge enthusiast of water sports, forests, and everything related to nature. In my free moments, I immerse myself in psychological books, practice mindfulness and yoga, which helps me maintain the balance of spirit and body. I'm curious about the world, which is why I constantly learn new things - currently delving into the secrets of internet marketing.

Although I might seem shy at first, I quickly break the ice, discovering a world full of passion and deeper conversations with myself and others. Friends say I have a talent for infecting others with new interests.

Languages? Of course, my native language is Polish, though I admit it sometimes gives me trouble. My English significantly improves with a bit of... you know, a bit of alcohol. And Spanish? That's my new, exciting language adventure.

My experience with Couchsurfing is just at the beginning stage, but I can already say that visiting Madrid and meeting the people there was incredible. I want more experiences like that!

I live by the philosophy of "live as if there was no tomorrow". I believe that each of us is the smith of our own destiny. Along with a friend, we're planning great travels and dream of forging long-term friendships. I warmly invite everyone to Poland, especially to my favorite city, Wrocław. See you on the trail!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided to join Couchsurfing for several reasons that are closely tied to my personality and philosophy of life. First and foremost, I'm naturally curious about the world and its people. I love discovering new cultures, traditions, and sharing my own experiences. Couchsurfing seems to be the perfect platform for this kind of exchange, where I can not only travel in a more authentic way but also host people from different corners of the world, sharing with them a piece of my Poland.

Secondly, I believe in the idea of sharing and supporting each other in the journeys of life. Life is the most beautiful adventure, and thanks to Couchsurfing, I can share this adventure with others, creating unforgettable memories and friendships. It's also a way to learn and grow by listening to the stories of others, participating in their lives even for a moment, and gaining new perspectives.

Moreover, Couchsurfing for me is a way to break stereotypes and build intercultural bridges. Every meeting, every guest in my home is an opportunity to show that despite our differences, we can understand and support each other.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music and books are key elements of my life, reflecting my emotions and passions. In music, my tastes are wide-ranging - from pop through R&B, house, lo-fi, to electronic and classical. Each music genre carries different emotions and memories, and some songs hold special meaning for me, evoking memories of people and moments that have shaped me as a person.

In literature, I lean towards psychology, which helps me better understand myself and others. I'm fascinated by how much can be discovered about the human mind. "The Lies We Tell Ourselves" by Jon Frederickson is one of those books that changed my way of thinking. Yet, there's also room in my life for fantasy, which allows me to momentarily escape reality.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For me, the awe doesn't only lie in the big, life-changing leaps but also in those small moments that can delight. Like the time I decided to climb onto the roof to better see the stars, or a spontaneous, nighttime dance on an empty street in the rain. Each of these experiences, though differing in scale and emotional intensity, reminds me that incredible moments are everywhere – you just have to notice and appreciate them.

So, when someone asks me about one amazing thing I've done, I smile mysteriously. The answer depends on how much you're ready to appreciate the awe in the everyday. Whether it's skydiving or just a simple walk during which I noticed something extraordinary – each experience is a celebration of life for me, a reminder to live life to the fullest every day.
