Overview
About Me
I am a professional translator and interpreter specialising in audiovisual, literary and scientific translation, as well as in localization.
I finished my studies in Humanities and Translation and Interpreting in 2014. I then underwent master's studies in Spain and in the UK.
I have recently embarked on a PhD on audiovisual translation at UCL (London), but translating professionally is what I find most satisfying.
On a personal note, I enjoy travelling around, seeing new places and meeting interesting people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting new people makes life more interesting, if not exciting. Sharing experiences, thoughts and ideas whilst travelling around seems to me the most fantastic of trips.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am sort of a bookworm. I read a lot of non fiction, but I enjoy novels, comics and poetry too.
Cinema is one of my great passions. I keep track of the films I have watched, and I have attended many courses on cinema. I am eager to share this interest of mine with fellow film buffs.
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach at university, where I am also constantly learning new things and sharing my thoughts with my peers.
I can teach you: funny facts about languages and translation.
I want to learn from you: cultural and historical aspects of where you live.
I want to share: some of your precious time and talk over similar interests.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share a nice conversation over a glass of wine or a cup of coffee.
