I grew up in a small town in Minnesota, lived in Minneapolis for awhile, and then got sick of the cold, so I moved down to North Carolina a few years ago; and I've loved it ever since!

I work in IT, designing and selling technology solutions for companies in NC. You could say that I have a passion for technology, for people, and for finding ways that technology can help people.

I originally joined Couchsurfing with the intent to take an extended trip overseas.. but I was offered a job that I'd wanted for a while, so those plans were put on hold. I've been to a number of Couchsurfing events though and have hosted a number of times with very positive experiences!

Intereses

Outside of work and travel, I like watching football/hockey, pool Saturdays and Sunday fundays, reading, finding new music, and doing pretty much anything outdoors. In general I just like variety and keeping myself challenged.. if I'm with the right people, I'm pretty happy doing anything.

I spent a month and a half traveling Europe when I got out of college, and I went to London/Ireland for the 2012 Olympic games. Way too much time passed between those trips..

I think it's impossible to judge a person, in any way. I think we're all a product of our upbringing, our environment, our personal characteristics, etc. Too many factors go into the decisions we make, and too much of it is subconscious, for us to blame, or praise, an individual.

In-depth knowledge of the nightlife that Charlotte has to offer.. I live downtown (frustratingly referred to as 'Uptown' here).. if location is important to you. Unfortunately, my place is pretty small, so I could only host one or two people at most, and it would get crowded quickly..
