I'm really keen to make new connections and practice my language skills. A big part of my job is trying to hone communication skills and I feel as though I never get a sense of a country or city unless I've stayed with a local.

I really want to learn more about the history the city/country I'm in.

Interessen

I'm a freelance journalist and published author, I use couch surfing when I travel to get to know a place through the people living there.

For sports, I play tennis and sometimes football.

I was a barman for quite a while before I got into writing. Happy to make some cocktails if I'm staying over.

Finally, I used to tutor in English and journalism writing, so happy to help anyone with an official application they are working on.
