Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm really keen to make new connections and practice my language skills. A big part of my job is trying to hone communication skills and I feel as though I never get a sense of a country or city unless I've stayed with a local.

I really want to learn more about the history the city/country I'm in.

Interests

I'm a freelance journalist and published author, I use couch surfing when I travel to get to know a place through the people living there.

For sports, I play tennis and sometimes football.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I was a barman for quite a while before I got into writing. Happy to make some cocktails if I'm staying over.

Always happy to share writing and freelancing tips, as well as giving advice on anyone looking to break into journalism or novel writing.

Finally, I used to tutor in English and journalism writing, so happy to help anyone with an official application they are working on.

I'd love to host anyone in London when I'm back from travelling.
