About Me
ABOUT ME
American-born Israeli. I'm temporarily back in my birth-country while I learn how to become a super-good vegan chef. Besides that, I'm also trying figure out how I can fit into my life all the other things I'm interested at, and that are important to me, like: Judaism, education, sustainability, social justice and of course, my friends. Any suggestions on how to balance it all?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hosted my couch-surfing friend from Israel that came to visit me in Ithaca, NY. It was really awesome, but I guess it doesn't really count since I know him since we were 10.
Interests
Oh gosh, where do I start? here's just a random list of things I'm really interested in: food, permaculture, sustainable food systems, food justice, environmental justice, social justice, learning Swedish, the Middle-East and more specifically Israel, my Jewish heritage, Jewish education, environmental education and also playing sports, but those are only a few examples.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite books: Alice in Wonderland, Grapes of Wrath, the Bible.
Favorite movies: Documentaries, american high school movies, because their life is always so glamorous, and good movies that everyone loves.
Hate: Horror movies, the only one I've ever watched is House of Wax, and I even got nightmares from that, although sometimes I read the Wikipedia summaries if I want to be scared.
Favorite TV shows: Gilmore girl ( The DVD box-set was the best Christmas present ever), The Wire, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Top Chef, and recently Breaking Bad up until my tablet died.
Favorite music: 90% rap , 5% electronic; for studying and cleaning around the house , and the rest; whatever pop song is stuck in my head at the moment. Also a big Bob Dylan fan.
Favorite Food: Vegan food. I'm also a recovering pizza addict.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm interested in learning as much as I can during my travels, and in general in life. I believe that every person we meet has the ability to teach us something profound if we only open ourselves to it. I'm really knowledgeable about Israeli and Middle-Eastern history and politics, and I'm always happy to talk about those subjects. I find that people are very interested in the region, and can try and do my best to explain the situation. In addition, I'm training to become a vegan chef and I'm always happy to share recipes.
