ABOUT ME

*(Note I currently live in Changwon South Korea but I can help if you're looking to go to Hull in the future)*

I'm a Hull lad born and bred who wants to travel the world and then help it travel to Hull (As a form of revenge).

I've travelled thoughout Eastern and Western Europe, Japan, Mongolia, China, Russia and Iceland.

In the past I have also worked in the UK Parliament, I could hear Big Ben whilst I was on the toilet...imagine that...

West Bengal, Australia and teaching in South Korea are maybe over the horizon.

Stayed with Peruvian Germans, hosted a Sri Lankan German, hosted a Singaporean German, then stayed with a lovely Polish lady (So it wasn’t all Germans.

Interests

I enjoy watching Rugby League (A type of Rugby popular in Northern England and the suburbs of Sydney) and I'm a regular season ticket holder with Hull F.C.

Hull also has another Rugby League team in the top national division called Hull Kingston Rovers and the rivalry between them and Hull F.C is fierce.

I sometimes go and see Hull's football team, known as Hull City or The Tigers, who are unexpectedly in the Premiership. (Oops - Not any more)

I used to be in a Rock band in my youth. I play bass badly.

I'm also a lover of British stand up, get to Edinburgh in August.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy lots of Rock music, 70's and 80's stuff mostly as well as lots of odd modern music. I'm really into the Gypsy Punk band Gogol Bordello as well as bits of reggee and electro.

Last Film Watched - The Warriors. Can You Dig It!
I don't read as much as I should, mainly due to Uni. However I have read all the Discworld books, something which is dead nerdy but still mildly cool.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I witnessed Hull F.C win the Challenge Cup in 2005

The Hull Flood of 2007.

I've stood, drinking vodka, in a disused communist open air swimming pool in warsaw.

Worn a see-through loincloth in an all male Hungarian bath house

I've seen a man's relationship with his wife end messily on a bus whilst a mad tramp played 'air drums' in their faces.

Helped a Scottish man commit crime in Japan (Ask for details)

Seen a dead Polar Bear get skinned in an Icelandic tannery.
