I talk to strangers.

I like to tinker and solve puzzles and play games and sports.

I like words that have 2 "O"s in them, like groovy, or goofy, or boogie.

I firmly believe that live music deserves to be danced to, no matter how bad you are at it.

I am a tree hugger but I bathe regularly.

I have piles of rocks and seashells on our shelves and windowsills.

I diligently sort my recycling.

I have 2 gorgeous children now, one born in France and one born in Canada. They are gorgeous mainly thanks to their beautiful French mother Cléa, whom I have not wed, but I am pretty sure I have locked down ;) . I am enjoying indoctrinating them with my interests and tastes and look forward to when they change my diapers and read me bed time stories.

PHILOSOPHY

I would say "if it feels good, do it" but the person who told me that was later arrested for public masturbation while tripping on acid, so I guess I'm not quite as committed to that mantra as he is! Hah

The state of the planet actually terrifies me, but I know there are good folks out there, and I guess Couchsurfing gives me faith in humanity.

If we all paid it forward the world would be a better place.

I’ve always got a book on the go, usually fiction but I’ll read anything that I consider thought provoking. A recent skim through my goodreads showed me I seem to like grim but humourous post apocalyptic novels; Vonnegut , Atwood, Murakami to name a few... but I’m always happy to yarn and trade book suggestions !
