Like living life to its fullest. Prefer a freelance lifestyle- life is too short for a fulltime job! However, hard work is needed to accomplish any objectives in life. I keep grounded at home in LA but good to escape routine with travel and adventure!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had my first experience Couchsurfing several years ago in Vancouver which was quite nice and since then had the nicest stay in Portland and just last summer in Edinburgh during the Fringe Festival. On all 3 occasions the stays were for multiple nights and really got to know the hosts quite well so we appreciated each other's company. As well, for last two years at my home in Silverlake (LA) I've hosted a Couchsurfing Christmas Day party inviting travelers from out of town to join myself and my friends for the holiday. Will continue with what is now a holiday tradition. On each occasion met the nicest people and had the best time! A few of the Couchsurfers also spent a few nights with me which was also mutually rewarding.

I have done quite a bit: worked at the White House, attended the Oscars, covered aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, in Mexico City with BBC when twin earthquakes hit, walked from Odessa to Kiev in the Ukraine as part of the Soviet-American Peace Walk. After flying to Nairobi from London came back overland hitching to Sudan, taking steamer down the Nile from Juba to Khartoum and then train to Cairo, exploring land and people along the way. Lots left to experience!
