Overview
About Me
I am constantly working and improving myself trying to be the best version of me.
I am that kind of person who is constantly seeking for some kind of new experience in travelling, getting to know other people, kitchen and interesting literature. I have already changed a lot of things in my life and I believe that there are many more ahead.
I graduated from economics department but during my university years I realized that I am more into communication with people, children and youth rather than numbers and graphics so I went to France to do my European Voluntary Service (EVS) in a youth centre in a lovely city called Nantes. That was the best expereince which inspired me to continue my studies in social sciences and now I am an Erasmus Mundus student, moving from country to country and studying at different universities. Hopefully I when I finish my studies, I will finally settle down somewhere and I will work for a big NGO and help people fight racism, discrimination and injustice.
Apart from that I am a leader of one small-scale NGO in my native city in Ukraine which helps young people to broaden their world outlook and to develop their skills by taking part in different social projects all over Europe.
As for my personality, I might be too emotional and demanding towards other people BUT I am easy-going, tolerant and smart! I truly believe that you should treat people the way you wnat them to treat you. That's one of my life postions.
I don't like cliches about people because I think that everyone is unique. I don't like racist, greedy and self-oriented people. If you are not like that, we will definitely get along!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Sharing, being open and getting to know each other better.
It's been a while since I am doing CS, last time less because of my studies but I like the idea of it - people are sharing what they have with others without expecting anything else in response. That's how, in my opinion, the world should work.
Besides, you get to know lots of lovely people all over the world and you are breaking your stereotypes.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am quite an old-fashioned lady, I prefer classical music and literature. I like listening to piano music of Ludovico Einaudi and peaceful relaxing music for meditation.
As for movies - I like good psychological films with a good plot that make you think and discuss it, like, for instance, Meet Joe Black, Au revoir les enfants, Inception etc. Although sometimes I don't mind a nice comedy or even a fairy tale. My favourite movie is The Tenth Kingdom.
I like reading Dostoevskiy, Erich Maria Remarque, O. Henry, Conan Doyle. My favourite author is Saint-Exupery and his little Prince.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Saw an awesome place on the earth called Sintra, in Portugal.
