Overview
About Me
Hey!
I'm Tomer,
a warm and sociable, adventurous and open minded kind of person.
Love meeting new people especially from different nationalities and cultures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Just had this crazy attraction for Japanese culture, started learning Japanese and had the idea of visiting. Meeting people, to me, was the most important aspect of the trip.
Through Couch surfing I was able to accomplish exactly that.
Interests
FOOD - I absolutely LOVE food! I eat about everything but pork. I like trying new types of food and I'm attracted to all sorts of cuisines.
SPORTS - Used to wind surf, did some Rugby, Biking, Snowboarding, skateboarding.
ARTS - Museums and Galleries, Theaters, Cinemas..I enjoy spending time at all of these.
Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a jazz drummer, so I like jazz.
Aside from that, I am pretty chill with anything.
Not that I'd listen to trance music on my free time, but a few shots at the club and I'd dance to anything.
I used to listened to Pearl Jam a lot, Nirvana, David Bowie, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and so on.
Some more prog stuff as well such as The Mars Volta.
Movies - I appreciate well made films, but I'm not too picky.
I like Sci-fi and action movies as well as good comedies every now and then.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went on an impulsive, unplanned, two months long trip to Japan alone with little to no Japanese, booking a ticket as soon as the idea came up, for a flight two weeks later.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach some Hebrew, English or French :)
I could share my knowledge of Israeli and French cuisine;
I could teach you how to make Crêpes.
I've been to multiple countries, so I have many experiences to share.
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, Ecuador, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Netherlands, Poland, South Korea, Switzerland, Thailand, United States
Countries I’ve Lived In
