After 3 years of travelling around the world, I'm back in the UK playing drums, making music and trying to make it!

ABOUT ME

I'm Tom, also known as: Tall Tom, Tom "Fucking" Fiely or just Fiely (pronounced "Feely").

I'm a drummer, cook, photographer, snowboarder, unusually tall person who loves to travel, meet new people and have an awesome time all the time. Too chilled out for my own good.

PHILOSOPHY

Life gives you lemons, eat them fuckers and savour it, learn from it, grow from it. Life's short, sweet, painful and wonderful. Enjoy every moment, be in the moment, and don't dwell on the bad from the past or the uncertainty of the future.

So far by hosting, but will definitely be trying to help grow the community by surfing and hosting wherever I may be in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted several times in Chamonix, and loved every person I had come to stay, the stories, the nights out and the memories shared are what life is all about. Now i'm going to try my hand at surfing for the first time, so excited!

Only listing one thing is difficult. Spending a week diving on the Great Barrier Reef.. Pretty awesome.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I've been playing drums for around 10-15 years now, so musically I have a tonne of experience and plenty to share and teach! Also not too bad in the ol' kitchen, and always the first to offer to cook and hone my skills, and always keen to teach others that may or may not be so familiar with cooking as well as I can. Everyone can learn something from anyone, and that is my favourite thing about this wonderful community we have: passing on tips, tricks and experiences in small and big ways, that leave a lasting mark whatever.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Laughter, good chat about anything or nothing, some nice food, music, a very messy night out, or a very civilised night in. I do my best with everyone I meet, because you treat those in the same way that you would like to be treated!
