I've traveled and worked around the world a few times over now and learned many things. Mostly that it's all about people, people and people.

I hold peace to be sacred above all else.

For fun, I love sports - I'm a speed skater and I travel with my skates wherever I go... I love food and good conversation. I simply like people.

PHILOSOPHY

Every moment in life is an opportunity to grow and learn - it's precious, so treat it that way. Each individual is also precious - treat them that way!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a house near Vancouver Canada, and I can host a whole family, or just an individual. I also travel a fair amount and hope to meet and learn about people around the world.

We will always have a place for anyone who has hosted us!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just starting. I heard about couch surfing from a friend and I love the idea. I think it will be as much fun to host as to visit.

Update: Couch surfing has changed our lives! We have made close friends that we cherish long after we left their couch. It has also proven to be an incredible learning experience for my 12 year old son.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed Everest. Had a child. Meditated for 2 weeks straight. Skated 100Km in one day. opened myself to epiphany.

Professionally I know about business development, especially in the high tech arena. I have invented some technologies. Personally I have always had a wide range of interests that I have pursued diligently, from the spiritual to the mundane. I love exploring new things with people and over the years that just adds up. I speak 4 languages - English, Japanese, Chinese and French.
