About Me
I only want to talk about running! My profile photo is over ten years old (circa 2007). It was a still taken from a video I made as part of my application to Shipwrecked, a TV show where young folk are sent to the south Pacific to live for a few months. I got nowhere with it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I stayed with 45 hosts in 6 countries. I travelled 11 weeks in 2012 and 4 weeks in 2013. I have so many small happy memories. I love to remember little things about my hosts, my journey and the places I stayed. I am not like the exciting, 'crazy' people on the couchsurfing TV shows, but I had a great adventure. I am so grateful to everybody I stayed with but I kept in touch with almost none of them. I hope they don't think I didn't like them. I am happy to have met every different person I stayed with and met. I feel guilty that I did not stay in contact more, but I prefer to leave the people in the past, in a happy bubble, so I can remember them and smile.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I ascended the south tower of the World Trade Centre 2 weeks before they were demolished. I remember standing beneath them and wondering how far away I would need to be if they fell.
