Overview
About Me
Young czech student who likes visiting new places and meeting new people. I usually want to avoid very crowded and turist-trap places. When visiting new place, I intend to meet locals who can show me how life in the city really looks.
I am going to finish my studies in a year and I decided to get new experience before my graduation by studying abroad. I spent one semester in Antwerp, Belgium and until half of June I am in Seoul, Korea.
Studying and living in these countries (and abroad in general) changed a lot my view on life and priorities.
From half of June I am going to travel around South-Eastern Asia for one month or more and there I really look forward to meet locals and see unique places.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Three reasons:
- People. People participating couchsurfing are usually very close to me with their interests and meeting via couchsurfing is the easiest way how to get in touch with them. I can share my experience, learn from theirs and exchange tips.
- Budget. If there is chance to sleep at someone's place and hang out with them in their hometown, you can save a lot of money and avoid turist traps and bad experiences.
- Community payback. It is real pleasure for me to participate in couchsurfing community and help fellow travellers as often as possible. Unfortunately I live in student dormitory, so my options of hosting are reduced. At least I am always ready to meet people and show them around city.
