I am a traveller, a language teacher and a musician. I am Russian, but now I live in Holland with my Dutch husband and our little son Stefan.

PHILOSOPHY

Positive realism. Don't fight with life and it takes you on its shoulders. The only way to become happy is to be happy - and this is the best way to make this world better.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted some couchsurfers in Saint Petersburg and have been hosted as well. Now I use CS mainly to meet new people.

Interests

I am really interested in music, singing and playing musical instruments (once I had a band of my own, we used to play folk-rock. I sing,play the guitar, the flute and anything that can be used to produce any sound. learning and teachng languages, painting (I paint on BIG sheets of paper. ) yoga, skiing, dancing, meditation, , trekking, roof-climbing, drinking tea (or anything) in the kitchen (with friends and chocolate), nature. Spending summer out of town - rivers, sea, mountains, whatever. City exploration - I like to get in some abandoned places, e.g. old plants.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always open to language. Currently I need to improve my Dutch, and I can offer Italian or Russian in exchange (or English, but so far everybody who spoke Dutch to me speaks excellent English)
