ABOUT ME

I love life and I love my job, which is to write songs and play them live for other people. By far the best combination is doing this job while travelling, which is why I love touring. Meeting new people and seeing new places by playing my music is an absolute dream, so I try to do it as much as possible. I usually finance my trip by playing in the streets and in little clubs and I'm more than happy to play for you and your friends / flatmates / family for accomodation. After all that's what it's all about!

MY PHILOSOPHY

I believe the sense in life is the things you do for fun while you are looking for a sense in life. Also I think that enjoying that endless search as much as possible and making the best of this life, is not only an art in itself, but it is IN art itself. And the most fulfilling artform to me personally is music. So that's what I believe and that's why I do what I do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To get to know new people and to make experiences beyond the same old tourist lump sum vacation. Anyone can spend their time at a hotel not talking to any locals whatsoever and then go home claiming to have "visited the country", but I'm not so much into the whole sight-seeing trip thing. I care first and foremost about the people and the local music scene and I want to make personal connections that I can profit from, when I come back on my next tours.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I played a concert to 7000 people in one of the biggest concert halls in Berlin, Germany as part of a big tour through the German-speaking countries with over 100.000 listeners in total.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My music first and foremost! As I said, I'm more than happy to play a little concert for you and your friends / flatmates / family. I can also share stories about life as a working singer, songwriter and guitarist in Germany and talks about bands, songs and instruments. If I already have a concert booked, you and your friends are of course more than welcome to join me.
