About Me

Hi guys! My name is Tommaso. I'm a 30-year-old Italian art teacher. I'm very passionate about contemporary and traditional arts and crafts, hiking, sports, and traveling. What I love the most about traveling is meeting new people, experiencing different cultures and lifestyles, and tasting food specialties. I love using Couchsurfing when I travel because it allows me to really understand the spirit of a country by sharing the daily life of locals.

In my free time, I enjoy exploring museums, galleries, workshops, and restaurants, or simply wandering around the city streets to soak up the atmosphere. I also love being out in nature hiking or catching some waves.

My biggest dream is to move abroad to open up an artistic residency, a space where creatives from different backgrounds can come together, and share their experiences, creating meaningful works of art while discovering a different culture and a more sustainable lifestyle.

As a host, I'll be more than happy to show you around my hometown and share my passion for art, nature, and nightlife. In my tiny house, I have a cozy couch for you to crash in, and I'll make sure you feel comfortable and at home. I am looking forward to meeting you and sharing our time and experience together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I decided to plan my trip to Indonesia (July-August 2023) I knew that I wanted to make the most of my experience and not just visit the typical tourist spots. I wanted to immerse myself in the local culture and explore the lesser-known places that only the locals would know about. That's why I chose to use Couchsurfing: to connect with locals who could show me their country through their eyes and provide me with a unique and authentic travel experience.
