Overview
About Me
Hi! I’m Tommy—Italian by origin, currently living in Amsterdam. I’m passionate about traveling (a lot!), going to concerts, and discovering new music. I’m also very into politics and global affairs—I love understanding how the world works, and I’m always up for deep conversations about culture, identity, or what’s going on out there.
I’ve lived in several countries thanks to study and work opportunities: I was an exchange student in the U.S. and Argentina, did my master’s in Marketing in the Netherlands, and now I work in product marketing at a tech company.
I’d say I’m open-minded, thoughtful, and genuinely curious about people and their stories. Whether it’s over a drink, a walk, or a concert, I’m always keen to connect.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I discovered Couchsurfing years ago through a friend and instantly loved the idea. While I was living in South America, I had the chance to Couchsurf in Argentina and Chile. Those experiences were meaningful to me because they were not just about having a place to stay, but about meeting people, exchanging cultures, and sharing great conversations.
Now I’m here because I want to keep that spirit alive. I enjoy meeting people who are curious about the world, and I love the kind of connections that happen when you share stories, meals, or just a moment of real conversation.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is a huge part of my life. I’ve been to around 50 concerts so far and I honestly listen to almost every genre. I love pop, I play country music when I’m cleaning, reggaeton is always on in the background, and I go for techno when I’m working out. If a song fits the moment, I’m into it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’m 27 and I’ve already lived in five different countries. I grew up in Imola, Italy, then spent a year in Indiana (USA) during high school as an exchange student. During my bachelor's, I lived in Buenos Aires for a year and later moved to New York City for an internship. After that, I moved to the Netherlands to do a master’s in Marketing Management in Tilburg.
Now I live in Amsterdam, where I work in product marketing at a tech company.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning about how people live in other parts of the world and how their everyday routines, values, and culture shape their lives. I’m happy to share anything about Italian habits, life in the Netherlands, or what it’s like to work in international teams. I’m always curious to learn something new, whether it’s about your language, cooking, or just how you see the world.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I really enjoy living abroad, but at the same time I’m very connected to my Italian roots. I’d be happy to share curiosities, habits, and little things about Italian culture that you might not find in guidebooks. I also love exchanging stories about past travels and hearing about the experiences that shaped you. Whether it’s a cultural chat, a home-cooked meal, or just a good laugh with a dutch beer, I’m always happy to connect.
