About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Kick ass in the classroom.
ABOUT ME
I am a pretty happy go lucky guy, living in sydney, just doing casual work this year and generally having a good time. I have essentially finished all my studies and am going to be a high school physics teacher, but I want to take a year off first. Work at the moment is caring for people with intellectual disabilities. It is really good some times but also has its down sides.
I spent a year and a half in Mexico which was quite memorable. I now speak spanish pretty well but don't find myself in the environment to practice it very often, so I seem to be losing it as time goes on. Not ideal but that's just the way it goes.
PHILOSOPHY
aaaaaaahhh not sure...... maybe, "el q no vive para servir no sirve para vivir" though i don't relate well to its origins. I seem to be getting sick of doing a rush job of everything so probably something about "if its a job worth doing do it properly" or "man up", maybe "enjoy the ride, don't rush to the destination"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Joined fairly recently and am not traveling so seem to host more than anything at the moment. I'll probably use it for travel at some point though.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
limited but generally good. It seems to be a decent source of housemates which is nice. Saves putting up adds and doing formal interviews.
Interests
Well 'm going to be a science teacher soonish so you could say i'm a fan of both people in general and science in general. I've been known to dabble in a lot of different things including: Rock climbing, fire twirling, gymnastics, chinese pole, fire twirling, drinking, general beach stuff, a bit of cycling, obviously travel.
Rock climbing would be the most significant one at the moment, I'm not really satisfied unless i am doing it more than once a week.

Music, Movies, and Books
Most recently read Perfume, and in the middle of Into the Wild at the moment. Pretty new to reading to be honest.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just finished the Overland track. Was pretty fun. Got more but I think they're better discussed over a beer.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a teacher so I love the concept. I feel like a bit of a jack of all trades but definitely a master of none.
