I'm a laid back, midwestern girl. Love to travel of course, share stories, meet new people, try some crazy things... anything to keep life interesting. I was an army brat growing up, which meant a new home and new friends every other year or so. I'd say it definitely helped shaped my adventurous spirit.

A fair amount of hosting and a little bit of surfing.

good people, friendly faces, big open hearts, new places and ridiculous views, dancing/hooping live music and shows, movie nights, glider planes, paragliding, bungee jumping, scuba diving, anything creative, interior design, tasty healthy foods, school nights with friends and reality tv cheez, outdoor markets all over the world, story tellers with the time to share, whole buncha hocus pocus -- aliens, mediums, psychics, astrologers, ghost tales, rabbit wranglers... all the things that make your eyebrows high. And burning man! run away to this circus for a week and return a richer you!

"Once". released in 2007, excellent music story.

book:
"Atomic Bazaar". it's about the underground world of nuclear weapons. an unusual choice for me but it got my attention right away. short read, very interesting.

i'm handy with a toolbelt and i can do most techy things
i'd love to learn how to cook from scratch. i'm getting better every year but still more comfortable with a recipe in hand. and surfing!!!! plan to be a surfing bodhisattva one day.
