About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Filling my brain with new material so that I'm able to hopefully add something of value to the conversation.

ABOUT ME

: : pre mogul : : trade jack : : sci geek : : global thinker : : selective debater : : world citizen : : fascinated human : :

PHILOSOPHY

I try not to fuss over things unless I really *need* to, and then do so only as required. Otherwise, it's a waste of time that could be better spent living. Did you know that average world-wide life expectancy is 3,494 weeks? Get your life on!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By hopefully engaging in an exchange of culture, ideas, or just favorite drinks!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have hosted and surfed a few times, and also have stayed with friends and relatives in various places over the years while traveling.

My first time CSing was in 2010 on a trip to the Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear in our nation's capital. It was pretty great.

Interests

Design geek. Super into F1; tech and competition! Love solving technical problems: squeaky bike brakes, setting up a whole-house audio system, getting one more pop tart out of a busted toaster.

Music, Movies, and Books

TV: Broad City, Arrested Development, Curb, Flight of the Concords should all still be on! Cosmos is dope. GoT's ending really was underwhelming.
Comedians: Anthony Jesselnik, Sarah Silverman, Louis CK
Movies: Fight Club (after all these years), Memento, Thor: Ragnarok was the best of the Marvel stuff.
Music (most played): French Horn Rebellion, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, DFA1979, Zeppelin, Justice, LCD Soundsystem
Radio: NPR, that is all. All the podcasts though.
Books are for smart people. Audiobooks are for me: "Essentialism" is my most recent "read."

Teach, Learn, Share

I can fix things real good. Not really a teachable skill, more of a figure/feel thing.
