Overview
About Me
I'm a student currently finishing my Bachelors degree in Biomedical Engineering at Duke University. I love music; I play horn and have for 10 years now. I also love sports. Tennis is my favorite sports, but basketball is isn't far behind it. I like to read when I have the time, which isn't often while I'm in school, but during breaks I spend most my time reading. I love to travel. I've been to many places in the USA and in Europe, and plan to go to many more. Eventually I'll make my way to South America, Asia, Africa, and the south pacific. There are just too many places to go. But I like to learn new things, experience other cultures. And I love food. I really like to eat, and eat good food. One of my favorite parts of traveling is getting to try all the new foods (and beer).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
New experiences. I never got to try it when I studied in Germany. I think it sounds like a great opportunity to experience the local culture, get to know people, get local knowledge of the place I'm staying. Another big reason is affordability. Being able to stay via Couchsurfing opens up more funds for traveling other places and experiencing new things.
