Hi, I’m Tommy and I’m new to Couchsurfing . I have just finished my degree in physics at the University of Bath, and before I get started with a career I have the desire to travel as much as possible and learn from different cultures/from those with differing points of view.
Also, I would very much like to avoid having any regrets regarding taking advantage of my youth and I believe it is important to go off the beaten path rather than getting stuck in the ‘rat race’.
I am a very curious person and can take a lot of things in my stride. I enjoy various forms of exercise including Brazilian jiu jitsu and running, and I like to try out other things too.
I took 7 years of Spanish before university, so whilst I have a good level of ability, I am not fluent and am quite rusty. Therefore, I would like to spend some time in Spanish speaking countries to re-immerse myself in both the language and the culture.
