Overview
About Me
My name is Tommy, I am living and working in London. I've been here for almost four years and although it's tough and tiring it can be a rewarding and wonderful place to live.
I am a recent graduate from university where I studied for a degree in Music. I'm also a singer, guitarist and songwriter and a folk group called The Northern Heights.
When I'm not working on the band I work at a huge, central London electronics store. But aside from those two things I love going for walks, visiting parks/gardens, exploring galleries/museums and have a few drinks with some good friends! I also love food, and I'm a vegetarian of 24 years!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've always thought that our global community ought to have more trust in one another and to use that trust as a means of sharing as many experiences, conversations, knowledge and jokes with each other. I first signed up to couch surfing when I did a solo interrail trip a few years ago. As a student, I had little time to travel and host but now I've graduated I'm excited to begin participating in the Couch Surfing movement!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While Couch Surfing in Berlin, we were taken to visit Spree Park - an abandoned theme park! We hopped a fence and had a look around and it was incredible.
Teach, Learn, Share
Did you know that the percentage of people dreaming in black and white decreased after the introduction of colour television?
What I Can Share with Hosts
Music! I'm lucky to be brought up in a home filled with music, and therefore have developed a very broad taste in music! I'm always happy to share recommendations and twice as happy to receive them! I also know several (pretty bad) jokes that I think are hilarious.
