About Me
Hollllla, my name's Tommy and I'm only now just starting to use Couchsurfing. I'm a 23 year old Australian hailing from Sydney. At the moment I'm studying in Göttingen, a small student city in the middle of Germany, and have been for the past 9 months or so. I'm about 178cm tall and my shoe size is 42/43. I think I'm a little bit strange but I think that other people think they are a little bit strange too.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing because I want to not stay in hostels. As much fun as it is meeting everyone in hostels, for me there's a certain dislocation associated with them. I also think the idea of letting someone into your house to stay with you, like what happens here, is such a nice, comforting thought. So I guess I'm just looking to meet some nice people and enjoying their company.
Interests
Reading is probably my most important interest. I'm also really into art and music. Cooking is great too. I'm also, surprisingly, a fan of cleaning. Oh and I like smelling interesting smells, even if they're a bit bad.

Music, Movies, and Books
Hmm, so many to choose from. There's just too many to list. And I know that if I start writing my favourites I will look back and kick myself for not including all the ones that I have missed. But I guess Radiohead are my most important band. Maybe Lantana my favourite movie (or Ace Ventura). And for a book - 100 Years of Solitude.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can give pretty good cooking tips. For example you should probably not put in any oil/butter before you fry mushrooms because then the water that's in them will evaporate faster. That's what I do anyway.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good times. Good rhymes. Sweet limes. Juicy spines
