About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To spend the rest of my 20's traveling, film making, expressing myself, learning about myself and about other people.
ABOUT ME
Since i finished school, I have backpacked, on and off, for just over three years (Australia, New Zealand, continental Europe, Morocco, America). I studied film for another three years and I spent one of them on an exchange in Prague.
I'm currently living in London, working as a carpenter to pay the rent and making independent films for the love of it.
I have recently finished a feature documentary about my father who was a boat builder.
Here is my film website - www.redbluepictures.com
I consider myself to be open-minded, good-humoured and and easy-going. Im pretty passionate, positive and enthusiastic about life.
I love people. I am always eager to discover and understand another point of view and i think this is why i want to be a film maker. Im curious.
I am still discovering who i am and i am still finding my creative voice... i'm just fumbling around, trying to figure things out, looking for answers, screwing up, falling flat on my face, getting up and starting again - like all of us!
PHILOSOPHY
This life is completely absurd and unfathomable.
Most of us don't know what we're doing or where we're going. None of us really know anything... and thats OK!
Pursue beauty and truth.
Look out and wonder.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have surfed quite a few couches in various different countries. I always like to give back by being a considerate guest and sharing everything i have, whether it be material, intellectual or emotional. What is life for if not sharing?!
That said, I'm afraid i can't accommodate anyone at the moment due to lack of space.
However, i love to meet other fellow travellers and i'm more than happy to meet for a coffee.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
USA for 3 months. Amazing.
In my opinion, its the best way to travel alone. So many wonderful and interesting people. So many places.
Special thanks to Ralph Noyes in Memphis and his son in Nashville. Good people.
Ride-sharing on Craig's List was also brilliant.
Also Cambodia and Vietnam for 1 month. Wonderful people.
