About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be an actor, not a motivator

ABOUT ME

Hey, I am Tomo from Taiwan. I am half Taiwanese and Japanese. Since I spent most of my life in Taiwan, I can speak fluent Mandarin but just okay Japanese. Now I live in Berkeley, California with my partner. I want to make some positive impacts on the society, so I chose to work in the environmental engineering business.

I like traveling and making new friends. I had been to Poland for doing my internship for totally 7 weeks in 2010. Because I like to experience everything that is new, fresh, international, and so on to me, I am trying to use every second to enjoy this world.

I am a big tennis fan, so I play tennis frequently and enjoy watch the games on TV or in the tournament in person. If you like to play tennis, then you get a big advantage to attract me. Besides, I also enjoy arts and music. Concerts and museums are always my best friends.

PHILOSOPHY

No just being a dreamer, but also an actor.

Actually I am really easygoing and have no such a big ambition in some specific things. However, if I have a really clever goal, I will strive for excellence in realizing the dream.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like Japanese music very much. Hamasaki Ayumi is my favorite singer so far.

I also listen to any kind of music, but mostly the music that can deliver the emotion and positive energy. I don't hate love songs, but come on, life is not just about the love, why do those singers just imagine us as the fans who are always longing for love.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was chosen for being the member of the reception team for Taiwanese government for hosting and assisting more than 250 foreigners coming from 120 countries in 2011. Well, it sounds cool but I guess most of the time I was having fun with those delegates. :P

If there can be the second amazing thing I've done, I would say spending money and time on the flight for 21 hours, just for watching Wimbledon in London.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show my Taiwanese spirit to you.

Well, what's Taiwanese spirit?
It's about passion, kindness, enthusiastic, dream-builder, and so on.
I love my country and I hope I can make everybody know about my country like this person did (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tNDWyUsbSW8)
