ABOUT ME

I just got back to London after a year in Nepal for my PhD research. It was a good year but kind of draining! I have managed to visit 7 new countries this year which was cool.

I love meeting people and finding about other cultures. I speak 10 languages and always trying to learn more! If you speak one I don't know perhaps you can teach me some :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since my friends introduced me to Couchsurfing I have had some great experiences with people I met on the website, expecially when I was travelling in Turkey.

Interests

How can I begin here? Too many things to mention!

In travelling: I love mountains! And the sea. And big, old, cosmopolitan cities.

Otherwise: music, dancing (love it), reading, learning languages, films, hiking, cycling, erm lots more things too :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekking on Singalila Ridge at the foot of Mount Kanchenjunga on the eastern border of Nepal with India. I have never been to a more beautiful place. You can see so far...so much space. Sadly this trip was before I had a digital camera so no photos to upload. Still it's in my memory often...
