About Me
Hello! I'm Tom, a New Zealand undergraduate student currently studying at Duke University in the US. I study psychology and am currently trying to figure out what to do when I graduate. I'm always up for an adventure and trying new things.
At the moment I'm planning a trip to Central and South America which I'd love some help with if people have ideas!
Unfortunately as I'm away from home, I'm not really in a position to host people at the moment, but I hope that once I settle down in a few years' time I can 'pay it back' to people I've been hosted by (and other couchsurfers) when I'm older!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet people and share stories about travels. My experiences have also shown me that the best experiences in travelling come from the people we meet more than the things we see. I love to travel and I like being part of a community that shares the same passion.
Interests
I like conversation. I'm interested in talking about world events and philosophy. Follow New Zealand cricket and rugby. I've been slowly trying to teach myself the guitar (with admittedly little progress)... I try to stay fit by running and going to the gym. I'm a big reader - currently really into 'classics'.
