About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Latvia-Norway-Sweden-Copenhagen-Amsterdam-London

ABOUT ME

I'm into surfing, music, learning and meeting new people. I have done a lot of travel before. My mum is Australian and my dad is Latvian. I respect people who challenge the normal. I have a good sense of humour - think Monty python and Black Adder. Music for me is a form of meditation. I've recently started DJing, its a great outlet for me and a lot of fun, but if I can find enough time I'd like to move into music production. I'm very fussy about correct punctuation in text messages.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

On my current trip in Europe would like to surf some couches. When I get back home I hope to repay the good karma.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music spans all genres. At the moment I'm listening to a lot of dance music, mainly breaks and drum&bass. Some of my favourite groups are Soundgarden, Rage Against the Machine, Pendulum, Soulwax, Shapeshifter, Regurgitator, Opeth, The Haunted, Mindsnare, Toe to Toe... and many many more.
I hope to see some wicked Scandinavian heavy metal while im travelling in Europe.
I don't watch a lot of TV or movies, although I recently saw Superbad which cracked me up. A good TV show from a while ago was League Of Gentlemen.
I should probably read more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In early December 07 me and five friends went on a 10 day surf trip to Tonga. The location, waves, coral, food and serenity was amazing. For 10 days everything else in my life just melted away.

Teach, Learn, Share

Its obvious but it works - the best way to learn is to meet as many people as possible, and listen to what they say. Warning: Doing this may lead to many crazy adventures.
