About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find out what I want to do in life...

ABOUT ME

I'm 25 and from the north west of England. I finished studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics in the UK last June, and have since been travelling around India and Eastern Europe, also spending a few months in Germany.

I've been a vegan for about two and a half years, but don't hold it against me! I used to volunteer for an NGO that encourages people to donate to cost-effective charities that combat poverty in the developing world.

PHILOSOPHY

I'll tell you when I meet you ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with some great CSers in Central America, people who've become friends. I've also hosted while I was at university.

Interests

I studied philosophy and politics at uni, and am really interested in ethics and political theory. But I've also been known to go out and have a good time ;)

I'm quite sporty, and like going to the gym, playing football and walking/hiking. I'm a Liverpool fan and have had a season ticket for the last 16 years.

Other than that, I enjoy reading, seeing new places, watching films, meeting new people and learning languages.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like The War on Drugs, Arcade Fire, Pulp The Killers, The Heavy, Charles Bradley, Blur, Arctic Monkeys, The Who, Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, The Libertines, The Jam, The Courteeners, Bruce Springsteen, Kasabian, The Smiths and most of all The Clash. And a load of other stuff.

Favourite book is 1984 and taste in films is pretty varied: everything from Defiance to A Single Man (google them)!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A number of things, but the thing I wouldn't swap for any of them is having the opportunity, for a while, to spend every day with an amazing person.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not sure I'm qualified to teach anything in particular, but I've got some Spanish and German (and decent English). Happy to share my experiences of life and you can take from that what you will!

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Cuba, Guatemala, Mexico

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, United Kingdom
