Overview
About Me
I'm very much into art and anything culture related as that is what most of my life revolves around.
Also I try to be active, quite in to cycling, climbing, winter swimming and everything outdoorsy!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It is all about the people!
The people you meet on your journey are the ones who make it special. And it is great to give and get back.
So far, have been hosted a couple of times have hosted a couple of times, and have met people in my travels and here in Riga.
Interests
Photography, Videography, Music, Cinema, Books
Used to play the drums back in the day, but now I just play some percussions.
Whenever I go to a new place I take the time to go to some museums and exhibitions and try to understand the place through that.
I also cycle, do some bouldering, swim all throughout the year, do trail-running and used surf back in the days when I lived by the ocean.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Indie; Post-rock, a little of jazz and a spark of some eletronic.
For every step, for every moment, there is a tune for that.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Over the years there have been quite a few adventures during my travels. I've hitchhiked around Iceland, spent lovely time in the Kyrgyz mountains, hitchhiked to the northernmost point of Europe, swam under the northern lights in Finland and many more.
But by far the coolest thing has been organising and taking part in two photography exhibitions and making a book for the same project.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, if someone is interested, I can share my Latvian knowledge. And for non Russians speakers, I can try to learn something for you. Although, I have some difficulties to speak fluent, I still manage to make a conversation somehow.
And if you are hosting me or i am meeting you somewhere abroad i would love to know the culture or the language.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Everything that is mine is yours!
I can share a conversation. I love to talk to people, but in the same time us Latvians tend to be reserved, so if you want some space, that is totally fine by me.
If I have the time, I can cook some veggie stuff for you and quite possibly show you around town.
