About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Okay so this may not be creative, imaginative, or wacky (as couchsurfing suggests) but I am travelling the world and I want to see amazing sights, experience different cultures, and meet amazing people.

ABOUT ME

I'm not too sure how to write this, but here goes...

I am a pretty easy-going, laid back guy. I have been travelling with my 2 friends for the last 10 months and we haven't had an argument yet.

Sometimes I like to make the plans, sometimes I am happy to just follow the crowd.

I love to laugh (at pretty much anything), I love to have serious conversations, I love to explore.

I will give anything a try once (well, most things).
I am happy spending a day lying around watching films, but then I am just as happy spending a few days trekking or spending a frantic day exploring a city.

I like going out in the evening for a good meal, or to a bar for a few drinks (or even a lot of drinks).

I don't snore.

I am living in Sydney now, saving up to carry on the travels.

Music, Movies, and Books

pfft, too many to list them all (I am lazy). Here is a selection:

Books: I love most genres.
Some of the classics: such as Catcher in the Rye, 1984, A clockwork orange.
Some Sci-fi/Fantasy for an easy read: authors such as Robin Hobb, George RR Martin, Raymond E Feist, Christopher Paolini, Joe Abercrombie
Some modern books: Kurt Vonnengut (what a hero), Charles Bukowski, Mark Haddon, Life of Pi.

Music: I will listen to most genres apart from DnB or any happy hardcore stuff. My favourite is probably indie but then hip hop is also great.
I like The National, Bright Eyes, The Strokes, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Danger Doom, The Macabees.

Movies: Again, I will watch anything. I love Lost in Translation, any Wes Anderson film (man Rushmore is a goooood film), The Squid and the Whale, Gladiator, etc.
